Transportation

Manotick is an extraordinarily convenient part of Ottawa for moving around by car. Parking is quite easy. On the other hand, commuting by public transit is very hard in Manotick. Nonetheless, there is Kilbirnie / Greenbank, River Mist / Kilbirnie and Kilbirnie / Breakstone with access to the 75 |. The neighbourhood is connected by a few bus lines. It is very impractical for pedestrians to navigate Manotick since very few common errands can be run without the use of a car. It is also challenging to move around by bike in this part of Ottawa because the bicycling network is not very extensive, and the area is not particularly flat.

Services

High schools and primary schools are not abundant in Manotick, and accordingly not always within walking distance. Additionally, parents and their kids may find it very hard to get to daycares as a pedestrian. With regards to food, it is very rarely feasible for property owners in Manotick to reach the closest grocery store by walking. There are also approximately 20 restaurants in Manotick.
