Kentley is a neighbourhood within Hamilton, Ontario, which is situated in the Greater Hamilton metropolitan area.

Transportation

Kentley is quite appropriate for bicycling. This part of the city will also draw active home buyers since it is reasonably suitable for walking; many common errands can be run on foot. Kentley is very car friendly. It is a short drive to the nearest highway, such as Red Hill Valley Parkway, from any home in Kentley, and it is very easy to park. However, residents using public transit may find limited options in Kentley due to the low service level. Thankfully, the neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and the nearest bus stop is generally very close.

Services

Primary schools and daycares are easy to walk to from most homes for sale in Kentley. However, there are no high schools in Kentley. In terms of food, the closest supermarket in Kentley is generally only a short walk away. In addition, this neighbourhood is a good place in which to eat out, and a limited variety of coffee shops is available as well. It is also a rather short walk to a decent choice of clothing stores.

Character

The character of Kentley is exemplified by its relaxed atmosphere. This part of the city is reasonably quiet overall, as the streets tend to be reasonably peaceful - although there are still several louder sections, especially near Red Hill Valley Parkway.
