The neighbourhood of 1100 is part of the city of Hamilton, Ontario, which is located in the Greater Hamilton metropolitan area.

Transportation

1100 is very car friendly. It is especially convenient to come across a parking spot. Bicycling is challenging in 1100 since there are very few bike lanes, and there are a fair number of slopes for cyclists to brave. Nonetheless, some enjoyable pockets for cycling can be found. 1100 is also not very well-suited for those who travel by foot as running day-to-day errands is very challenging by walking.

Services

In all but a very small number of cases, a vehicle is required in this part of Hamilton to reach the closest supermarket. Concerning education, families may find it very difficult to get to high schools and primary schools as pedestrians. Likewise, daycares are not abundant and consequently not always within walking distance.

Character
