Cory Smith is a journalist living in Stratford, Ontario. He grew up in the Festival City and has lived there most of his life, enjoying the city’s restaurants, parks, entertainment and the fact he can’t go to the grocery store without seeing someone he knows. He was the first person to interview eight-year-old Justin Bieber and takes credit for launching the pop icon’s career. When he’s not exploring the city with his wife and son, he manages a fantasy baseball team.
Though he first aspired to design cars, a teacher convinced Dave to pursue architecture instead. He earned his Bachelor of Architecture degree from Carleton University and as a result, he knows an abnormal amount about home design and construction. Dave later became the Editor-in-Chief for major automotive publications, but now splits his time between Toronto, Miami and Europe developing content for cars, boats, travel and lifestyle outlets.

Gary Kean was born and bred on the west coast of Newfoundland in Corner Brook and has lived there all his life, except for four years studying philosophy and English at Memorial University in St. John’s. Since 1995, he has been delivering news as a journalist with The Western Star. In his spare time, Gary enjoys playing and watching sports, music and spending time with his family.
A screenwriter for both film and television, as well as a web content creator, Geneviève also works as a director and producer while handling advertising mandates. A writer with five novels, a biography and several novellas under her belt, she is published in Montreal, Paris, New York and Stockholm. Gord Brown, an Ottawa-based copywriter, loves hands-on projects around the house and enjoys delving into various home improvement and DIY subjects. Extensive travel across Canada has inspired a curiosity for the locales and history of our country’s communities. He lives with his two amazing boys and partner, along with their four cats.
Heather was previously a Canadian National-level swimmer, and now a content creator who runs her own video production company. One of her biggest accomplishments of late has been the purchase and renovation of her house in Kitchener/Waterloo, where she is covering a 1,000 sq ft. garage on the property, into a commercial studio space.
